A Project Designed for the Improvement of the Health Education Method in the Funeral

摘要


「死者爲大」是中國人歷來對逝者的尊崇。協助病患全家安排病人身後事,可以達到「逝者平安,生者無憾」的境界。在安寧病房中,大約有77%的家屬需要接受後事準備的衛教。病房主要的衛教方法:主護護士視個案需要給予口頭衛教(非系統衛教方式)。筆者實際觀察、問卷13位護理人員及10位元需要「後事準備」衛教的家屬發現:「後事準備」衛教的完整率及滿意度偏低。探求其主要原因是:缺乏衛教輔助工具,護理人員對往生內容不瞭解,衛教時機難以拿捏等。故改善方案爲製作「愼終手冊」,本專案的成效評估結果發現改善方案實施後,護理人員、家屬對「後事準備」衛教滿意度及完整率皆達到專案目的,可見在衛教時配合「愼終手冊」的應用(系統性衛教)之效果是肯定的,應加以利用。

”Everything could be adjusted to meet the need of the dead” is a traditional reverent way to the dead in Chinese. For the purpose that let the dead pass away peacefully and the bereaved live without regrets, it is important to help them arrange funeral affairs. About 77% family need to receive the health education about funeral in hospice. The main health education method is that primary nurse teaches by oral method (Non-system health education method). Authors observe and questionnaire to thirteen nurses and ten family. We find the complete rate and satisfied rate of health education about funeral prepared be low. The reasons are lack assistant, knowledge, and uncontrol time. The resolution is to make funeral manual. If we teach family funeral with manual (system health education method), the complete rate and satisfied rate can reach our purpose.
