摘要

梨狀肌症候群是以髖部、臀部疼痛為表現特點，是形成下背痛原因之一，但由於表現缺乏專一性，容易與腰部神經根病變、薦髂關節炎或腰源性坐骨神經痛相混雜，以致於臨床上容易遭到忽略。然而腰痛屬於門診中常見主訴，也因此對該病症有一定的了解將有助於與其他下背痛成因做鑑別，本篇文章綜合當今對該症候群的認知，同時探討中西醫治療方式。

Piriformis syndrome is characterized by hip and buttock pain, and is belong to categories of low back pain which is a common complaint in out-patient department. Because of its similar presentation to lumbar radiculopathy or sacral joint dysfunction, this syndrome is often been overlooked. However, for more accurate diagnosis requires understanding structure and function of piriformis and its relationship to sciatic nerve. This article provides state-of-the-art knowledge about the syndrome, including medical management.
