通識教育兼任教師教學品質評鑑之研究

General Education Part-time Teachers'Teaching Performance Research

摘要


本研究之主要目的,在探討國立高雄海洋科技大學學生對通識課程兼任教師教學滿意的程度,並探討其相關因素:學生性別、年級、院系、教學內容、教師課程要求與學教學品質的關係。 為達成上述目的,本研究兼採文獻探討與問卷調查,以國立高雄海洋科技大學二技、四技學生修習九十三學年度下學期通識兼任教師開課課程的班級為研究的對象,以自編之「教學反映意見調查表」為調查工具,並針對10門通識開課班級465位學生進行問卷調查研究,利用統計套裝軟體STATISTICA,以描述分析、f檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關分析、多元逐步迴歸分析等統計方法進行資料分析。根據資料分析結果,獲得以下結論: 一、學生對於兼任通識教師教學的評鑑結果,整體來說有中等以上的滿意程度。 二、就性別、年級、院所而言,對於兼任通識教師教學的評鑑結果,沒有顯著差異。 三、學生對於不同課程評鑑結果與整體的評鑑結果顯示沒有顯著差異。 根據文獻探討及統計分析研究的結果,提出以下的建議提供參考。 一、針對每一位兼任教師建立長期教學檔案,以便有系統的評鑑。 二、為使評鑑結果更具有效性,學校應邀請兼任教師參加校內教學研討,加強與校內的互動,相對的可提供兼任老師教學協助。 三、依評鑑結果舉辦兼任教師訪評座談會,交換教學心得並做評鑑追蹤,以了解兼任教師改善情形,協助教師改進缺點,提昇教學成效。 四、制訂一套兼任教師教學管理制度,明定兼任教師權利與義務及可獲得教學之支援。

The purpose for this research is related to the discussions of the students' satisfaction to their general education part-time teachers' teaching in the National Kaohsiung Marine University and the correlation between students' evaluation and teachers' teaching performance. To fulfill the stated purpose, text analysis and questionnaire are applied in this research. The object studied in this research is the 2-year & 4-year technological program general education part-time teachers' teaching classes of the National Kaohsiung Marine University in the second semester in 2005; researching tool is a survey chart written by the author ”Opinion Poll for teachings in the National Kaohsiung Marine University”. The data was collected from the interview with 465 students from the classes of the general education and analyzed with statistic software, STATISTICA, and by statistic approaches as follows: description analysis, f-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's Product-moment Correlation, and Multiple Stepwise Regression. According to the analyses, the results in the research are listed as below: 1. As a whole, students of the National Kaohsiung Marine University show their satisfaction beyond the average at the evaluation for general education part-time teachers' teaching performance. 2. In general, the gender, grades, and respect of majors, the results of students' evaluation the general education part-time teachers' teaching do not show any discrepancy in different gender and level and on the whole. 3. The result showed in individual evaluation in different curriculum of general education no obvious difference compared with the whole evaluation. The following suggestions based on the results of text analysis and case study approach raised for the school reference. 1. Collecting the teaching files for all the general education part-time teachers for long term is helpful to hold evaluations systematically. 2. Based on the results of evaluation, hold meetings for discussion with the general education part-time teachers and follow up the teachers' improvement would help teachers to enhance the effectiveness in teaching. 3. Convening the general education teaching seminar and interchange teaching experience to improve the general education part-time teachers' teaching performance. 4. Set up a management system for the general education part-time teacher in order to establish the teachers' right, obligations and teaching back up.
