電話輔導於自殺防治的成效與限制

Effectiveness and Limitation of Telephone Guidance on Suicide Prevention

摘要


自殺防治已經是當前政府與民間單位之重要課題,在國外使用電話輔導在自殺防治的服務有五十多年的歷史,由民間機構引進臺灣也逾四十年,這項服務措施的實際成效就相當令人感到好奇。本文將整理、分析國內外有關電話輔導做為自殺防治策略的成效文獻,了解電話輔導在自殺防治的策略上是如何演進發展的?其特色為何?此種方式應用在自殺防治上功效究竟如何?有何限制?使社會大眾對此服務措施有更多的認識。

Suicide prevention is an important issue for current government and private organizations. It has been fifty years using telephone services in suicide prevention in foreign countries. This service has been introduced into Taiwan more than thirty years by non-governmental organizations. This article will review the literature and previous reports to understand how the telephone guidance in the suicide prevention was developed. The purpose of this study is to know the function, the effectiveness, and the restrictions of the telephone guidance in suicide prevention. Hopefully, this paper will enable the public to know more about this service.
