In recent years, due to changes in the social environment, many local arts and culture have difficulty in passing down. Teaching in the campus is one way that local arts and culture can take root downward. Drum societies of Xinzhuang District Si Xian Elementary School was established in 2000, and it makes a lot of effort in passing down the local arts. This study aims to investigate the operating status, the use of resources situation of drum Societies, and the teachers' teaching strategies in Si Xian Elementary School, Xinzhuang Dist. Hope the teachers who are determined to bring drum arts or other traditional culture into the school teaching can take this study as a reference.
