蘭陽溪水質指標相關性分析

The Correlation Analysis of Water Quality Indexes for the Lanyang River

摘要


In this paper, water quality monitoring data for the Lanyang River from 2003 to 2007 were obtained from EPA and were calculated for three different water quality indexes (RPI, WQI and WQI5). The comparison of these indexes was made to demonstrate their differences and relationship. Correlation analysis results show that WQI and WQI5 are highly positive correlated (r>0.85) for all monitoring stations. For RPI with WQI or WQI5, a moderately to highly negative correlation (r= -0.5~ -0.9) was observed. RPI is frequently interfered by nature occurred suspended solid and cause the down grade of the pollution rating. WQI5 is more sensitive to conductivity and a lower rating is occurred to the monitoring station located at estuarine. No phosphate monitoring data is frequently found during WQI calculation and an adjustment is needed. Statistical hypothesistest and ANOVA results shown RPI and WQI were no difference for the stations of the Huludu Bridge, the Lanyang Bridge and the Gamalan Bridge. The WQI5s were no difference for the stations of the Huludu Bridge and the Lanyang Bridge. Further studies are recommended for the existence of these stations.
