This study examines an English teaching practicum course taking place in the form of online tutoring at an institute of technology in mid-southern Taiwan. It presents a case study in the qualitative research tradition with data collected from class observations, teaching journals and open-ended surveys. The purpose of this study is to portray how information and communication technology is incorporated into an English teaching practicum, as well as to explore how the practicum equips college students with computer skills and teaching abilities to be future English teachers. The results of this study demonstrate instructor's observations and participating students' perspectives of their learning from this practicum, which has implications for future practice and further research.
