The purpose of this study was to understand participants' participation motivation and the participation satisfaction, and analysis relationship between participation motivation and satisfaction, and participation motivation whether predict participation satisfaction on 2006 marathon activity. The research used convenient sampling selected 203 adult participants from the 2006 marathon activity in Taiwan. The analysis results showed that: (1) The different join groups and travel date have statistical significant differences on participation motivation. The gender, education level, age, income, and area of residence have no significant difference on the participation motivation. (2) The different income, join groups, and travel date have statistical significant differences on participation satisfaction. The gender, education level, age, and area of residence have no significant difference on the participation satisfaction. (3)The correlation analysis between participants' participation motivation and participation satisfaction, the result showed that the whole participation motivation and participation satisfaction were middle correlation (r=.66, p<.05). (4)The result of analyzing 2006 marathon activity of participants' participation motivation to predicted participation satisfaction, the participation motivation could significant predict participation satisfaction (F=155.41, p<.05), and predict 43% of variance of participation satisfaction.
