摘要

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), seems to be transmitted via respiratory droplets. The American Dental Association (ADA) advocates several methods of reducing SARS-CoV-2 transmission via aerosols, including barrier protection, antiseptic mouthwash, high-power suction device, high-efficiency particulate air room filters, and ultraviolet treatment of ventilation systems. We introduce a novel and economical dental aerosol barrier box by which oral-maxillofacial surgeons, dentists, and dental assistants can perform dental procedures safely.
