UV噴墨列印應用於磁磚之印刷品質特性研究

The Study of Print Attributes on Ceramic Using UV Inkjet

摘要


隨著數位印刷技術的進步,大大簡化傳統印刷的繁複過程,跳脫印前製版繁複的程序,也避免了傳統印刷機中水墨平衡難以控制的品質困擾,並減少化學藥水污染及塑膠底片、鋁板浪費,讓髒亂吵雜的印刷工廠晉升成先進的自動化機房。數位印刷由電腦完稿後,直接由設備輸出成品,增加了及時、客製化的功能,而數位印刷其中又以噴墨(Inkjet)技術最被看重與廣泛採用,加上紫外線(UV)固化技術與墨水的配合,演進成能夠取代紙張印刷之外其他平、凸、凹、孔的新印刷製程;UV噴墨此種非接觸性的複製技術,在材質、尺寸、厚度以及開發成本皆佔有優勢。其中建材噴印(玻璃、磁磚、壓克力、金屬等)、與其他電子光電業之工業用途,被視為UV噴墨未來最大發展方向。對於新的製程與設備,該如何運用才能達到理想的複製品質,本研究以建材中的磁磚噴印來探究其影像複製的品質特性,透過實驗證明,在UV噴墨設備以兩種不同的列印次數與三種覆蓋率(出墨量),使用UV噴墨油墨噴印於不同前置處理的磁磚上,參考ISO12647-2規範,透過儀器測量分析導表各項目。建議使用UV噴印磁磚時以經塗佈處理高於一般出墨量,例如120%覆蓋率噴印,因其解析度細線呈現、灰平衡、印刷反差、色差表現最佳;若是裝飾用途的瓷磚噴印不建議上光,在百格刀測驗時發現上光後瓷磚表面有較耐刮的保護層,但對UV墨水的附著度反而不利,一旦上光層被破壞,印墨會一起被剝離磁磚表面;UV墨水越厚越不耐熱,120℃一小時後經塗佈及加白墨的150%覆蓋率樣本已產生裂痕;耐光0.86W/平方公尺340nm十六小時候已經某些色墨開始產生色差;直接噴印瓷磚無法通過耐水測試,噴印瓷磚必須經塗佈處理,才能通過基本的物理特性考驗。

Along with the progress of digital printing technology, the complicate of traditional printing process was simplified, it skipped the obscure procedure of prepress. Moreover, it has avoided the quality puzzle caused by the difficulty of the traditional printer ink and water balance controls, reduces chemistry pollution, films and plates waste. It lets the unorganized and dirty printing factory promote into the advanced and automated engine room. Digital printing allow click and drag the files from front-end workstation directly to devices output, shorten delivery time, and added the personalize function, the Inkjet technology is most important and popular in all kinds of digital printing. In addition, the coordination of ultraviolet ray (UV) curing technology and the UV ink have evaluted a brand-new printing system which can substitutes for conventional offset, flex, grave, and screen printing. The no-contact reproduction technology by UV inkjet have momentous improved and helps on different choices of material, sizes, thickness and the development costs. It benefit on photoelectric industry particularly, using the UV inkjet on building material, glass, tiles, acrylic, metal, etc.. How to achieve the ideal of reproduction quality regarding the new workflow and the new equipment? This research used inkjet on ceramic tile of building materials to inquire into its Print Attributes, using UV inkjet equipment with two kind s of different printing pass and 3 kinds of ink coverage (ink quantity) to print on the different pre-processing ceramic tiles, refers to the ISO12647-2 standard. Use instruments to exam and analysis each survey project. Research suggested that uses UV inkjet on ceramic tiles and spreads with 120% ink coverage primer, the result are clear resolution, best of gray balance, printing contrast, and color difference presents. For the decoration purpose ceramic tile, reserch suggest not to polish with coating because studies discovered that after Cross Hatch Cutter examines the coated ceramic tile surface has the protector which bears blows. However, it is disadvantageous on adheres to stick cohere to the UV ink because the printing ink can strip together from ceramic tile surface once the photosphere is destroyed. One hour later at heat-resisting 120℃ condition, adds primer and adds the white ink 150% ink coverage samples have the fissures, moreover color started to produce chromatic error after 16 hrs. testing of under UV light 0.86W/m^2 @ 340 nm. In conclusion, ceramic tiles are unable to pass the water resistant test directly, and it must spread primer first to pass the basic physical property test.
