摘要

這是關於業餘網球愛好者打球的故事，本研究針對一群打網球已超過二十年的網球愛好者進行半正式的訪問，經整理與分析，結果發現：在他們生命故事裡，打網球的意義已從單純的運動健身、贏球的渴望轉化為友情的慰藉，最後昇華到一種生活的寄託。整理這段屬於我與他們的網球故事，讓筆者重新挖掘了這群網球愛好者，從陌生到熟識，從熟識到相知相惜的歷程，也重新認識運動、重新理解網球，進而形成對生命的一種再理解。在他們的網球世界裡，打球是一種生活方式，也是一種生命的態度。總之，從這群網球愛好者因為網球所交織的生命經驗中，打網球是一段純淨的朋友關係、一種類家人的情感關係，以及一種生命的潤滑劑。

This is a story about a group of amateur tennis players with twenty years experiences, done by semi-structured interview. By organization and analysis, the result reveals that in their life story, those players have changed their attitudes towards playing tennis from simply exercising to anxiety for winning, then to comfort by friendship, finally subliming to a kind of commitment for life. Putting the story together that belongs to me and them provides myself the chance to ”re-dig” the process of how those tennis lovers get together and finally become cherishing each other, which gives me a new sight to sports and tennis, then to a new understanding of life. Tennis in their world is a way of living as well as an attitude towards life. To sum up, we can know from their life experience interwoven by tennis that playing tennis symbolizes a pure friendship, a family-like relationship, and something that smoothes their life.
