在本篇論文中,我們整合了多媒體系統與病歷資料,主要功能是將醫師診斷的過程與結果,隨時利用電子病歷或影音的方式記錄下來,但須在病患的同意下,才能使用多媒體的形式與電子病歷資料做完整的結合,並將各個病歷資料利用中央控管的方式來建置檔案。病歷資料若以多媒體的方式呈現,可讓各個醫院之間的病歷資料相互流通,並讓醫生可在第一時間了解就診病患使用藥物的情形或各種病因,來做最快速的診療與避開相關的用藥問題,來達到提高效率和減少醫療糾紛。在急難救護上,進一步藉由救護車所提供的PDA行動裝置,並透過GPS定位系統,判別離事故現場就近和對病患最有幫助之醫院與路徑,並利用GPRS系統,將個別病患資料與救護現場狀況回傳至醫院,以提供醫院相關訊息,讓醫院率先取得病患的個人醫療病歷資料,以節省急救之時效性,來提升整體醫療效率。
