Journal of Aeronautics, Astronautics and Aviation disseminates original archival research, review and tutorial papers contributing for the advancement in all aspects of aeronautics, astronautics and aviation.

The journal, formerly known as Transactions of the Aeronautical and Astronautical Society of the Republic of China (AASROC) since 1968, is adapted to the current title starting from January, 2006 (Volume 38 of the original journal). For ease of dissemination, the journal contains series A in English and series B in Chinese with English abstracts. Series A of the journal is published quarterly (March, June, September, and December) and series B semiannually (Closed in 2013) by the Aeronautical and Astronautical Society of the Republic of China.

JoAAA encourages the submission of papers addressing all aspects of aviation, aeronautics, and aerospace, which include, but are not limited to,

Acceptance of a submitted paper will depend on the results of rigorous technical review and on the judgment of the Editor based upon recommendation of the associated editor and related experts as to the merits, originalities of the paper and the importance of contents to readers. If the paper is accepted, the authors will be responsible for proof-reading.

The JoAAA select best papers from the previous year and issue the best paper award in the Annual Meeting on Aeronautics and Astronautics. This is a great honor to authors in JoAAA. The contents of the journal are indexed in the Engineering Index (EI) and Scopus. As the big step to receive ESCI in May 2017, JoAAA is running confidently toward SCI rating within the upcoming year.
