採用緊束縛法,研究含有缺陷的光子晶體中的缺陷模,導出了缺陷模頻率方程。作為特例,採用轉移矩陣法,數值計算了含有三個缺陷的一維一光子晶體的透射譜和與光子帶隙中缺陷模頻率對應的光場強度分佈,討論了缺陷間的相互作用對缺陷模的影響。結果表明:當光通過含有多個半波缺陷的光子晶體時,在透射譜的禁帶中出現缺陷模,缺陷模的數目與半波缺陷數目相同,而缺陷模頻率的間隔隨著半波缺陷間隔層數的增加而減小,最後形成一個缺陷模通帶;與缺陷模頻率對應的光場分佈為局域狀態,並發現局域光缺陷鄰近層。

English Abstract

Local defect modes in photonic crystals with structural defects is investigated. Using the tight-binding method, we obtain an equation for the local modes in photonic crystals with many structural defects. Using the transfer-matrix-method simulation, we observe the degeneracy and split of defect mode frequency in certain conditions and light field intensity distribution of the defect modes frequency. The result shows that there exist defect modes in the transmissivity spectrum, the number of which is equal to the number of defect layers and the frequency interval between two neighboring defect modes decreases with the increasing of the layer's numbers between neighboring defect layers, finally a defect-mode-band is formed. There are local states for the light field intensity distribution of the defect modes, and we find a novel phenomenon that the amplitude of the local states occurs in the neighboring layers of defect layers.
