食品工廠之原料用水重金屬含量調查

Heavy Metal Contents of Water in Food Process Factories in Taiwan

並列摘要

In order to monitor the heavy metal-contents of water used in local food plants, a hundred and ten water samples were collected from factories in the northern, central and southern area of Taiwan during the period from July 1989 to June 1990. Quantitative analysis of lead, copper and cadmium were tested by the atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) with graphite atomizer, whereas contents of mercury and arsenic were measured by AAS with hydride formation system. Among the total number of 110 samples, there were 55, 62, 63, 79 and 59 water used in the food factories containing lead, copper, cadmium, arsenic and mercury respectively. The detected concentrations of heavy metals in water samples were lead at 3-13 ppb, copper at 4-386 ppb, cadmium at 1-11 ppb, arsenic at 2-120 ppb and mercury at 1-l3ppb. The results indicated that the mercury content of water needed for further investigation.
