Three New Records of Halosaurid Fishes (Pisces: Halosauridae) from the Deep Waters Adjacent to Taiwan

摘要

本研究記載自2001年8月至2005年8月在台灣深海水域內水深488-2423 m，使用海研一號及水試一號所採集到2個新記錄屬及3個台灣新紀錄種海蜥魚科魚類。它們分別是Aldrovandia affinis (Günther, 1877)異鱗海蜥魚，Aldrovandia phalacra (Vaillant, 1888)裸頭海蜥魚，Halosauropsis macrochir (Günther, 1878)短吻擬海蜥魚。以上之Aldrovandia Goode and Bean, 1896海蜥魚屬，Halosauropsis Collett, 1896擬海蜥魚屬等2屬為台灣之新記錄屬。總計台灣目前共有2屬3種海蜥魚科魚類。本研究除描述此3種新記錄種之形態特徵及地理分布外並附上其標本照和採集測站資料，同時亦提供台灣海蜥魚科的檢索表。

The specimens of three new records of halosaurid species (Pisces: Albuliformes: Halosauridae) and two new records of genera were collected by R/V 'Ocean Researcher I' and R/V 'Fishery Researcher I' in the deep waters around Taiwan from 488-2423 meters during August 2001-August 2005. They are Aldrovandia affinis (Günther, 1877), Aldrovandia phalacra (Vaillant, 1888), and Halosauropsis macrochir (Günther, 1878). The genera Aldrovandia Goode & Bean, 1896, and Halosauropsis Collett, 1896 are the new records to Taiwan. Thus, the total number of Taiwanese halosaurids currently is two genera and three species. This paper includes diagnostic characters and geographical distributions of the three species. Color photos, station data, and a key to the species are given.
