Two-Source Emission of Nuclear Fragments in High Energy Collisions

並列摘要

The °-moments of the charge distributions of projectile fragments in sulphur fragmentation at 200A GeV are obtained by using the Monte Carlo partition method based on a two-source emission picture. Whence, the correlation between the °-moments can be obtained. The distributions of the °-moments are investigated. We have also calculated the correlations between the conditional moments (S-moments and °-moments) and the multiplicity, the conditional moments and the bound system charge, the heaviest fragment charge and the multiplicity, the heaviest fragment charge and the bound system charge, as well as the distributions of the multiplicity and bound system charge. All of the calculated results are in agreement with the experimental data of nuclear diffractive excitation and electromagnetic dissociation of sulphur nuclei in nuclear emulsion at 200A GeV.
