探讨了一项利用激光快速成型技术、胶模成型技术、陶土粉成型技术制造PDC钻头烧结模具的新工艺。利用该新工艺可以实现复杂结构PDC钻头的制造,使钻头制造精度更高,外表更加美观,切削齿角度误差和高度误差可分别控制在0~0.1°和0~0.15mm范围内,水槽位置误差控制在0~0.1mm范围内。新产品开发周期比压模成型和铣模成型工艺大大缩短。现场使用证明,利用该新工艺生产的PDC钻头比压模工艺生产的钻头平均进尺提高16.85%,平均机械钻速提高11.66%。

English Abstract

This article introduces a new manufacture process of the sintered mould for matrix PDC bits by using laser rapid modeling technique, rubber mold forming technique and kaolin powder modeling technique. PDC bits with complex structure can be made with the new process. And the manufacturing accuracy of the bit can be improved greatly with the angle error of the cutter teeth less than 0.1 degree, its height error less than 0.15mm, and the gutter position error less than 0.1mm. The product development cycle is shortened remarkably using the new process. Field application shows that, the average footage of the new PDC bit increased by 16.85% compared with that of the bit made by pressing forming process, and the penetration rate increased by 11.65%.
