Chinese Abstract

由于第二代小波变换可以实现图像的整数到整数的变换,而且图像的恢复质量与变换时边界采用何种延拓方式无关,完全可以克服由第一代小波变换所带来的缺陷。利用这个特性,提出了基于小波整数变换的VLSI实现,用适度的门复杂性来得到快速帧率。在完成芯片设计的同时,利用SYNOPSYS公司和ALTERA公司设计的软件,以ALTERA公司的FPGA为基础完成了对芯片的电路仿真。

English Abstract

Due to the availability of image transform from integer to integer with the second generation wavelet transform and the performance of image reconstruction uninfluenced by boundary conditions, the defects caused by the first generation wavelet transform can be eliminated completely. As a result, a method of VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) implementation based on Integer Wavelet Transform (IWT) is proposed, thus high frame rates can be achieved with moderate gate complexity. The chip is simulated on FPGA with an ALTERA's FLEX10K chip by using SYNOPSYS' FPGA-COMPILER and ALTERA's MAX+PLUS Ⅱ.
