在转矩流变仪中通过熔融接枝反应制备了EPDM-g-GMA,将其与聚丙烯(PP)在双螺杆挤出机中熔融共混。用化学滴定法测定EPDM-g-GMA的接枝率,用红外光谱对接枝物进行表征,用SEM观察共混物的形态。通过对PP/EPDM-g-GMA共混物的形态结构和力学性能的研究发现,随着EPDM-g-GMA的含量或温度的增加,PP/EPDM-g-GMA共混物的缺口冲击强度相应提高,而拉伸强度降低,断裂伸长率相应增加。

English Abstract

A copolymer EPDM-g-GMA was prepared by grafting glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) onto EPDM in a torsion rheometer, then the EPDM-g-GMA obtained was blended with PP in a double screw extruder. The grafting rate of EPDM-g-GMA copolymer was determined by turn over titration measure, while the grafted EPDM-g-GMA copolymer was characterized by FTIR measurements. The morphology and mechanical properties of PP blended with EPDM-g-GMA was studied. It is found that with the increase of the EPDM-g-GMA content or the increase of temperature, the izod notch impact strength became higher, however, the tensile strength became lower. The results show that there is a correlation between the brittle-ductile transition temperature and the elongation at breakage of the PP/EPDM-g-GMA blend with the EPDM-g-GMA content.
