噴砂技術應用在人工突起木理加工之研究

摘要


噴砂技術乃利用春秋材硬度之顯著差異,磨耗量互異,造成木理凹凸之現象,以凸顯木材天然木理之美。本研究乃利用冷杉、花旗松、紅樑木進行試驗,探討砂粒種類、粒度、壓力、噴槍高度、噴槍傾斜角及木理方向等因子對噴砂效率之影響。結果顯示:在噴槍調整成60°傾斜並與試州距雕8cm高之條件下噴砂時,以5kgf/cm^2之氣壓、#100之金鋼砂效果最佳。 又紅樑木垂直木理方向噴砂之木材磨耗量較平行木理方向噴砂之木材磨耗量大。三樹種中以冷杉之木材磨耗量較大,顯示木材磨耗量與材質有密切的關係,材質較軟,磨耗量較大,噴砂效果較易顯現。噴砂技術應用於工藝品上,可突顯木理之立體感,應用於木材(原木)橫斷面時,可觀察生長輸之變化,可作為研究林木生長之工具。

The purpose of sand-blast processing is to take advantage of the difference of abrasive resistance between earlywood and latewood owing to their different hardness, so that, artificial raised grain can be produced to enhance the nature beauty of wood grain. In this study, woods of Taiwan fir, Douglas fir and red oak were used to find the effects of kinds of abrasives, grit size, spray pressure, spray height, direction of nozzle and grain direction on the sand-blasting efficiency of wood. The results obtained were summarized as follows: (1) Efficiency was the best when emery of #100 grit size was used to spray under 5 kgf/cm^2 air pressure, at a height of 8 cm and with a angle of 60 degrees with respect to work surface. (2) Sand-blasting perpendicular to the grain was more efficient than parallel to the grain. (3) Of the three kinds of wood tested, Taiwan fir was the best of all to be sand-blasted. (4) Soft wood with distinct annual ring can be sand-blasted easily to form a artificial raised grain for technological use.
