Transcatheter Amplatzer Vascular Plug Closure of Fistula between Right Pulmonary Artery and Left Atrium

並列摘要

A fistula between the pulmonary artery and the left atrium is a rare form of congenital heart disease, less than one hundred cases having been described in the past. This malformation was commonly treated by surgical ligation of the fistula via thoracotomy. Only few cases have been reported treated successfully by transcatheter closure. Herein, we report an experience on a 6-year-old girl with initial manifestation of revealed cyanosis and treated with an Amplatzer vascular plug to block the communication. Clinical manifestations and treatment on pulmonary artery to left atrial fistula also have been reviewed in this report.
