Effect of an LSCF Protective Coating on High Temperature Air Oxidation of 2205DSS

摘要


本研究使用作爲固態氧化物燃料電池(SOFC)雙極板的2205雙相不銹鋼(2205DSS)爲材料,以網印方式披覆La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3(LSCF)塗層,再經1000℃氮氣氣氛高溫燒結後於800℃空氣氣氛,探討2205DSS與2205LSCF的高溫氧化差異。實驗結果顯示,2205LSCF經1000℃氮氣氣氛燒結,LSCF相穩定且塗層與合金底材附著性良好。塗層與合金底材界面間僅生成單層且薄的Cr-Mn spinel氧化物。於800℃高溫氧化,2205LSCF中的2205DSS因有LSCF塗層的保護,可有效阻礙氧離子擴散通過塗層到達合金界面,進而降低2205LSCF的氧化皮膜成長速率。

Duplex stainless steels (e.g. 2205DSS) are being considered as potential interconnect materials for solid oxide fuel cells. The effect of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3 (LSCF) coating on the electric properties and oxidation resistance of a 2205DSS alloy was examined in air. The 2205DSS alloy was coated with an LSCF layer (2205LSCF) via a screen printing process and was then sintered at 1000℃. When the 2205LSCF sample was sintered in an N2 atmosphere, the LSCF coating layer exhibited phase stability, and only a thin Cr-Mn-spinel scale formed at the LSCF layer/alloy interface. The LSCF layer prevented oxygen from reacting with the alloy, and as a result the oxidation rate of 2205LSCF was lower than that of 2205DSS at 800℃ in air.
