This article is to explore how Chinese couple in Taiwan deal with their marital conflicts and their adjusting and change processes, from the perspective of feminist theories. The discussion is based on results from the research on “Marital conflict and influence Processes in social change”. 20 wives are individually interviewed 3~6 times, to explore their conflicting issues, perspectives, strategies, and influences and change processes. Several themes are discussed by the grounded theory analytic procedures. The implications to social influence theory and marriage counseling practices are also discussed.
