The article is aimed to investigate the presumptions and theories of the concept of Servant-Leadership, and its contents and related studies in various publications. Three characteristics of the servant leadership are explored here. (a) The origin and premises of the servant leadership theories. (b) Elements of Servant Leadership, including its nature, leaders’ characteristics and roles and (c) the cultural dimension in an organization and applying procedures in carrying out his/her/their mission. This article intends to cover viewpoints of relevant scholars. Lastly, from the approach of studying and analyzing available results of researches, this article attempts to develop a research framework hoping to establish an empirical research approach and providing some useful opinions and suggestions.
