導入管理支援系統的工作重新設計之研究-以組織結構診斷之觀點

A Study for Work Redesign of Introducing MSS: An Organizational Structure Diagnosis Perspective

摘要


在現今的企業而言,運用資訊科技支援組織的管理決策活動,已是企業取得競爭優勢之關鍵,特別是管理支援系統。而在導入管理支援系統時,為了確保能夠達到預期效果,先前適切的工作重新設計以強調決策的特性是成功的關鍵。然而不同的組織結構其管理決策的方式也不同,因此假如能夠事先了解自己本身的組織特性,其後續導入管理支援系統之工作重新設計,將可達到事半功倍的效果。而過去文獻並未有類似之研究,因此本研究針對過去文獻之不足處與不完整的缺點,提出一個整合上述過程之完整思考模式。基本上,本研究模式分為兩階段,第一階段為組織診斷,第二階段為導入管理支援系統之工作重新設計。同時就此模式中各階段所採用之方法與技術,也做一分析與探討,以做為實務界解決此問題之具體參考。其次,本研究以實證方式驗證其有效性與說明其實際應用。最後,並討論與此研究相關之結果。

The use of information technology to support managerial decisions is a key factor for gaining competitive advantage in the current business environments, in particular, management support systems (MSS). In order to facilitate the success in MSS introduction, work environment must be redesigned to emphasize the decision-making aspects of the jobs. However, different organizational structure will present different styles of managerial decision. If organizational characteristics can be diagnosed in advance, work redesign for MSS introduction will be done much more easily and effectively. Previous researches for these have not yet well-documented. Therefore, this study proposes a complete theoretical model for solving the above problems. Basically, this theoretical model comprises two parts, i.e., organizational structure diagnosis and work redesign for MSS introduction. Furthermore the methods and techniques used for these two parts are also discussed in order to provide a concrete reference on practicing the matter. Finally, an empirical study is implemented and the related results for this study will be discussed.
