探討壓力調適工作坊改善護理人員壓力症狀之成效

Exploring the Effect of a Stress-management Workshop on Stress Symptoms among Nurses

摘要


護理人員常因過大工作負荷而産生壓力感,甚至身心症狀。本文運用Lazarus的壓力互動模式,採用多主題壓力調適工作坊,探討改善護理人員壓力症狀之成效。參加人員採自願方式向中華心理衛生協會報名參加,共二十一名。壓力調適工作坊課程安排爲四週,每週一次四小時,主題包括護理壓力來源、自我特質了解、生涯規劃、肌肉放鬆、音樂治療、冥想、自我肯定訓練、因應技巧訓練、時間管理及社會支持綱路等,進行方式包括講解、討論、實際演練、角色扮演及課後作業等方式。以壓力自覺症狀量表(SOS)及精神症狀檢查表(SCL-90)評估護理人員壓力之症狀,由課程前、課程後及課程結束後三個月,共計三階段之評估。研究資料經無母數Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed-ranks test檢測後發現課程後及三個月追蹤測驗之壓力自覺症狀比課程前爲低。在精神症狀的評量上,平均值依時間的進行,亦有愈來愈低的趨向。本文可提供護理人員在職教育內容安排之參攷,以改善護理人員壓力症狀。

High workload of nurses increases their stress and somatic symptoms. Lazarus’s stress transactional model was applied in this study to explore the effect of a multidimensional stress management workshop on stress symptoms among nurses. Twenty-one participants voluntarily attended this worship spnsored by China mental Health Federation. The workshop comprised four sessions, held once a week for four hours each time. The content included understanding stressors, self characteristics, career planning, muscle relaxation, music therapy, meditation, self-assertiveness, coping skills, thress management and social support network. Teaching methods included lectures, discussion, practice, role play and home work. The measurements of “symptoms of stress” and “symptom distress check list” were used to assess nurses’s stress preworkshop, post-workshop and at follow-up 3 months after the workshop. Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed rank was applied to examine the difference. The results showed that the level of stress symptoms post-workshop and at follow-up workshop was lower than pre-workshop. The symptoms also showed a reducing trend over time. This study can provide ideas for stress management course for eliminating stress symptoms among nurses.
