病患為60歲男性,最近兩週出現黃膽及臉色蒼白的症狀,以貧血及疑似胃癌的診斷住院,在接受靜脈注射鐵劑ATOFEN之後作骨骼掃描,骨骼掃描出現異常的肝臟攝取;ATOFEN是一種治療貧血的用藥,在靜脈注射之後,此種鐵膠質會快速的進入肝臟的網狀內皮系統,被吞食的鐵膠質會和鎝-99m-MDP作用造成骨骼掃描上的肝臟顯影。

English Abstract

A 60-year-old male complained of progressing pale and jaundice in recent 2 weeks. Under the impression of anemia and suspicious gastric cancer, he received intravenous iron therapy with iron chondrointin-sulfate colloid (ATOFEN) and underwent a whole body bone scan afterwards. Diffuse hepatic uptake of (superscript 99m)Tc-MDP was demonstrated on bone scintigraphy. ATOFEN is a potent anti-anemic agent with a favorable pharmacokinetic profile. After intra-venous injection, most of the injected iron colloid immediately distributes to hepatic reticuloendothelial cells. Phagocytized iron colloid contributes to hepatic uptake of (superscript 99m)Tc-MDP in our patient who underwent ATOFEN therapy.
