美、加、英三國檔案週（月）與檔案認知月舉辦及檔案素養的推廣

一般社會大眾對於檔案的觀念模糊不清，導致對於檔案未有正確的觀念，因而未能有效運用由公私單位所設置檔案機構典藏的檔案。為了讓一般民眾對於檔案有正確的認識，培養一般社會大眾的檔案素養是有其必要性。本文主要探討檔案週（月）與檔案認知月在美國、加拿大與英國三國的舉辦及推廣檔案素養的情況，並進而針對台灣目前的環境，提出七項可行的檔案素養培養的途徑。

Generally speaking, the public are not very familiar with the concept of archives, and as a result, very often they have no idea about how to make use of the large number of archives compiled and collected in archives organizations, private or public. In view of the general unfamiliarity with the knowledge of archives, it is important to promote the awareness of archives and cultivate the archives literacy of the public. This paper mainly analyzes the activities of ”archives week/month” and ”archives awareness month” held in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom and how these activities may contribute to promoting the archives literacy of the public. Current situations in relation to the awareness of archives in Taiwan will also be discussed in the paper, with seven approaches suggested for cultivating the archives literacy of the public at home.
