大學生對同志態度量表編製初探

The Scale Development of Attitudes toward Gay People for University Students

摘要

本研究旨在編製一套「大學生對同志態度量表」，以瞭解學生對同志的態度，並考驗量表信效度。研究對象為289位大學生，含男生107人、女生180人、2人沒表示。量表共五個層面，每個層面4題，分別是「營造友善校園」、「願意接觸支持」、「尊重基本權利」、「擔心污名歧視」以及「違反社會道德」等。前三者為正向層面；後二者為反向。題目形式均採Likert四點量表，正向題，正向計分；反向題，則反向計分。研究發現各試題與總量表分數的相關係數介於.32和.64；五個層面的Cronbach α信度係數介於.70至.86，總量表的α信度係數為.89；各題和所屬層面的因素負荷量介於.36和.90，整體解釋量為66.32%。本研究另發現，在進行學生年級和主修領域變項之統計控制後，學生性別會影響他們對同志的態度：男生在正向層面態度分數顯著低於女生；而在負向層面態度分數則顯著高於女生。

The purpose of this study was to develop the Attitudes toward Gay People scale (AGP) for university students and to test the scale reliability and validity. Development of the initial item pool was based on a review of relevant literature and the results from interview with gay university students. A sample of 289 university students was selected for study. The AGP scale consisted of 20 Likert-4-point items. Each subscale consisted of 4 items. All items of this scale was divided into 5 dimensions which are Building friendly campus, Willing to contact and support, Respecting civil rights, Worrying stigma prejudice and Violating social morality. The internal consistency a coefficients were between .70 and .86 for five subscales, and .89 for the total scale. Factor loadings for items designed to measure each factor were consistently large, between .36 and .90. The five factors accounted for 66.32% of the total variance. Female students score significantly higher than males in Building friendly campus, willing to contact and support and respecting civil rights. However, female students have higher disagreement scores than do males in Worrying stigma prejudice and violating social morality.
