Hereby, We present a nursing experience of an 80 years old patient after total knee replacement. During this process, we used Gordon's 11 Functional Health Patterns to assess the patient, by observing, consultation and physical assetment of the patient; we collected the information wheather the patient encounter anxiety, acute pain, physical activity disturbance etc problems. Answering the above mentioned problems, We designed a caring plan in coherance to the patient characteristic, focusing on physical, psycholgical and spiritual aspects of the patient, we designed a nursing plan to reduce the anxiety, to reduce the post operative pain and to improve the activity of the patient. We wish to share this experience with other collegues, since the old age populations remained the major population receiving Total Knee Replacement, need extra care and attention to improve their life quality.
