某大學職員情緒管理衛生教育介入活動成效研究

Study of the Effect of Emotional Management Educational Intervention for a University's Staff Members

摘要


本研究之目的在評估職場情緒管理工作坊衛生教育介入活動的效果,採準實驗研究,研究對象為某大學職員共25人,其中男性5人,女性20人,年齡由29歲至59歲。實驗教學是以工作坊為單位,實驗組18人,接受情緒管理衛生教育介入,對照組7人,則不接受任何實驗處理。工作坊課程內容以神經語言程式學的概念介入,包括認識情緒與轉化情緒的方法,並以EQ測驗評估成效。EQ測驗包括目前的生活環境、你的 EQ、EQ成效三大項。研究結果為:參加情緒管理工作坊的實驗組,三個月後,其EQ測驗「你的EQ」十四項中有十一項,包括情緒表達、對他人情緒的自覺、意圖、創造力、彈性、人際關係、建設性不滿、同情、直覺、個人力量、誠信呈現顯著進步;「EQ成效」四項中有三項包括健康總體檢、生活品質、人際EQ均呈現顯著進步。六個月後,其EQ測驗「你的EQ」十四項中仍有八項,包括情緒表達、意圖、彈性、人際關係、建設性不滿、人生觀、直覺、誠信呈現顯著進步;「EQ成效」四項中有三項,包括健康總體檢、生活品質、最佳表現呈現顯著進步,發現參加情緒管理衛生教育介入是有延宕效果。而對照組無論三、六個月均未進步。因此,此項情緒管理工作坊對於校園與社區心理衛生工作是有意義的。

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the emotional management educational intervention for university staff members. A Quasi-experimental design was utilized in the study. The sample consisted of 25 subjects, 5 males and 20 females, aged from 29 to 59. They were assigned to two groups. The experimental activities were based on the type of workshop. The experimental group (n=18) received the emotional management workshop and the control group (n=7) had no treatment. The NLP concept intervention, including how to know the emotions and alternate the emotions, was adopted. The differences in ”Your Emotional Quotient” score and ”The Outcomes of EQ” score before and after intervention were calculated for both groups to examine the effect of the workshop. The results showed that the subjects in the experimental group after three months, demonstrated significant improvement in ”Your Emotional Quotient”, including Emotional Expression, Emotional Awareness of Others, Intentionality Creativity, Resilience, Interpersonal Connections, Constructive Discontent, Outlook, Intuition, Personal Power and Integrated Self. The subjects also had positive results toward ”The Outcomes of EQ”, including General Health, Quality of Life and Optimal Performance. After six months, the subjects in the experimental group still had significant positive outcomes toward the scale of ”Your Emotional Quotient”, including Emotional Expression, Intentionality, Resilience, Interpersonal Connections, Constructive Discontent, Outlook, Intuition, and Integrated Self. In addition, they also had positive results toward ”The Outcomes of EQ”, including General Health, Quality of Life and Optimal Performance. Findings from the study indicate that the Emotional Management Workshop has long-lasting effect. Hence, the workshop has significant implications for implementing school and community mental health programs.
