The case study explores the grief responses of a woman who terminated pregnancy at 14 weeks owing to carrying Siamese twins. The study was conducted using qualitative methods, and covered the period from the mother learning of the fetal anomalies until two months after the termination of the pregnancy. As a primary nurse, the researcher collected data using nine process recordings. The process recordings then were analyzed using content analysis. Regarding the results, the grief responses in the present case included two contexts namely ”experiencing the termination process” and ”loss of attachment to the fetus”. Besides providing physical care and counseling, the researcher also provided a way to express grief and helped the case face the experience.
