The purpose of this study was to explore the aboriginal cultural tourism in Orchid Island. Cultural tourism that includes visiting historic sites, museums and cultural landmarks; attending special events and festivals is the new trend formed in the world. Adapting a qualitative research method, the study was based on in-depth interviews with tourist, host, staff and participant observation at various cultural sites in the Island. According to the results, a further discussion and some suggestions toward cultural tourism in Orchid Island were made and could provide a different dimension thinking for tourist, local government, recreation agencies and residents in Orchid Island.
