摘要

少數民族地區的文化觀光已成爲世界旅遊的新趨勢，藉由文化觀光增進彼此的了解與欣賞。但是在文化差異主客體間所造成的社會現象卻存在著多元的詮釋。本文是以參與觀察、訪談及文獻分析的研究方法，探討台灣蘭嶼島上少數民族－達悟族的文化驨光發展，並從觀光系統中解析現行文化觀光現象中的問題，提供當地居民、遊客、業界、行政機關對於觀光文化的新認知，以提昇文化觀光的品質。

The purpose of this study was to explore the aboriginal cultural tourism in Orchid Island. Cultural tourism that includes visiting historic sites, museums and cultural landmarks; attending special events and festivals is the new trend formed in the world. Adapting a qualitative research method, the study was based on in-depth interviews with tourist, host, staff and participant observation at various cultural sites in the Island.
According to the results, a further discussion and some suggestions toward cultural tourism in Orchid Island were made and could provide a different dimension thinking for tourist, local government, recreation agencies and residents in Orchid Island.
