摘要

城市總是與藝術存在歷史、美學和政治聯繫，也作為藝術的主旨和寶庫而發揮作用。藝術已成為城市的公共敍事者，並帶來了欣快的特徵。它雖然在不同城市呈現出不同的特點與風格，但都體現出公共性。當然，不同城市的市民對公共藝術的審美態度與選擇並不相同，這既因為公共藝術創造存在藝術家與城市風格的差異，也因為不同城市之間的歷史與文化差別導致了市民審美價值觀的差異。今天，我們對公共藝術仍然需要一個新的認識，因為這不僅是一個藝術「欣快」的問題，也是一個經濟和政治領域「欣快」的問題。

Cities were always related to art historically, aesthetically and politically, and also functioned as motives and depots of art. Art has mainly been serving as the cities' public story-teller, to bring euphoria with people. Arts of different cities have different characteristics and styles, but all have the character of publicness. Of course, citizens in different cities should have different aesthetic standpoints and choices, because there is not only differences of styles of a city and artists in creating of public art, but also differences of aesthetic values with the city historical and cultural differences. Nowadays, it is necessary to give a new perception to public art, because it is not only a question of euphoria in art, but also in economical and political fields.
