自我決定理論在博物館課程教學中的應用

The Use of Self-determination Theory in Museum Teaching

摘要


自我決定理論由美國心理學家Edward L. Deci和Richard M. Ryan所提出,此理論已成功運用在動機層面上,並確實在教育領域上實踐。自我決定理論不只是一門研究人類行為動機的知識,也可進一步深入探討人們行為的發展、表現以及獲得幸福感。休閒活動是近代所受到大家關注的議題,愈來愈多的人注重到生活品質,強調要好好過日子,因此,博物館學習的概念也愈興盛。本文將自我決定理論應用到博物館課程教學上,讓學習者藉由博物館所提供的知識訊息刺激更多的動機,使之成為學習動力,繼而享受生活,提升美學能力。

Self-determination theory was proposed by the American psychologists, Edward L. Deci and Richard M. Ryan. This theory has been successfully applied in the motivation level as well as in the field of education. Self-determination theory is not only knowledge of human behavior motivation, but also is used to further explore the development of people's behavior, performance and well-being obtaining. One of topics that people concern recently is so called leisure activities. More and more people pay attention to the quality of life and stress the importance of living well. Therefore, the concept of learning in museum is also more popular. This article described that the self-determination theory was applied to the museum teaching so that learners can stimulate more motivation by acquiring the knowledge and information from the museum. By means of the theory, people can have more motivation of learning, enjoy life and enhance the ability of art.
