本文之目的在探索影響臺灣民眾民主政治評價的因素。所謂的民主政治評價,依據筆者的定義是指「民眾認爲我國的政治現狀屬於何種程度」。從研究結果可以發現,政治信任感、對現任執政者的滿意度、政治世代、政治知識以及經濟狀況滿意度都會影響臺灣民眾對於民主政治的評價。首先,民眾的政治信任感愈高,其對於臺灣民主政治的評價就愈高;其次,民眾對於現任執政者的滿意度愈高,其對於臺灣民主政治的評價也愈高;第三、屬於政治世代第二代和第三代的民眾,其對於臺灣民主政治的評價高於政治世代第一代的民眾,並且屬於愈晚近政治世代的民眾,其對於臺灣民主政治的評價就愈高;第四、政治知識愈高的民眾,其對於臺灣民主政治的評價也愈高;最後,對於經濟情況愈滿意的民眾,其對於臺灣民主政治的評價也愈高。
The purpose of this paper is to explore factors which have effects on the democratic value of the Taiwanese people. According to the authors' definition, ”democratic value” means the people's perception as to which degree the nation's current political situation belongs. This paper concludes that political trust, satisfaction with the current incumbent, political generation, political knowledge, and satisfaction with the economy can affect the democratic values of the Taiwanese people. First of all, if a person's political trust is higher, his democratic value tends to be higher. Secondly, if a person is more satisfied with the current incumbent, his democratic value tends to be higher. Thirdly, if the people belong to the second or third political generation, then their democratic values are higher than those who belong to the first political generation. Furthermore, if people belong to the latest political generation, their democratic values are the highest. Fourthly, if a person's political knowledge is higher, his democratic value tends to be higher. Finally, if a person is more satisfied with economy, his democratic value tends to be higher.
