Design of Multi-functional Accessory by Using LED Lighting

摘要

現今的設計風格所強調不再只是單純的「功能性」，而是改以「創意感性」的設計為主軸。許多消費者對於產品的需求，也不再只是侷限於產品外觀及辦能性的滿足，更期望產品中添加更多情感上的設計。隨著高科技的進步，設計者的創意在技術、村料及產品造型上有更多彈性可以呈現。「設計」是一個講求創意並以具體呈現的過程，而「創意」則為設計的重要關鍵；有了豐富的想像力及突如其來的創意，並勇於嘗試就有了新想法及新概念的商品！本研究將導入新的設計概念，使飾品除了裝飾性外，將金工結合具有照明功能的LED燈、光纖及磁鐵，使飾品具有其他更感性的功能，亦可消費者依個人喜好自行DIY塑型，讓飾品更能展現獨特新樣貌及特色。

”Function” is no longer the main object of the current design trend, instead it is now ”creativity and sensitivity” Expectation from consumer is no longer just the exterior appearance and function, but more emotional attachment with the products. As technology advances, choices in material, technique and exterior form become more and more flexible to fulfill the designer's creativity. ”Creativity” is the main key in any design, staring with imagination, add on creativity, along with willing to try new things, add all these together will result in new concepts and new products. This research attempts to introduce new design concept, to combine metalwork, optical fiber with LED lights and magnet to give more function and consideration to the accessory, and make it more personal by allowing the consumer the chance to DIY, to take part in forming the accessory's exterior shape, hence the accessory is ”the one and only”, to show each individual's uniqueness and taste.
