由華人的面子問題探討精神病患的污名

摘要

精神病患的污名是由社會建構而來，且與文化有著密不可分的關係。儒家思想對華人社會的影響甚深，因此人們特別重視禮、義、廉、恥的道德規範，此也形成了傳統的榮辱觀，傳統榮辱觀的通俗表現就是愛面子。在華人社會中，人們通常會選擇避開那些表現不符合社會期許的人，以維護自己的面子，而精神病患常被視為是不符合社會期許的人。本文以華人的面子問題探討精神病患的污名，最後針對教育、接觸以及臨床實務等方面提出建議。

The stigma of psychiatric patient is developed by social construction, and it is also associated with social culture closely. Confucianism influence Chinese society, so people pay attention to propriety, justice, honesty, and moral shame. This also formed the traditional concept of honor, the performance of honor is keen on face-saving. In Chinese society, people often choose to avoid the performance does not meet the social expectations of people, in order to protect his face, and the psychiatric patients are often regarded as inconsistent with what the social expectations of people. Therefore, this article explores the stigma of psychiatric patient in the perspective of ＂Chinese face＂. Finally, some suggestions have been proposed in education, personal interaction and clinical practice.
