Teaching Business German at Wenzao Ursuline College Teaching Methods and Curriculum

文藻外語學院的商用德語教學-教學方法及課程

摘要


近來商用德語在德文教學中愈來愈重要,因為愈來愈多的德文系學生希望將來能在商業界中發展其事業。一個與德國有關連的公司更甚於文化部門,提供給他們的是更多的工作機會。以商用德語為方向的學生必須要全然地準備好將來雇主所要的需求,因此商用德語教學必須導向實務性的商業領域。此一目標需要新教學概念及教學方法。本文的第一部份將概況性的介紹在班級上的實驗方法,例如:角色扮演、模擬及企劃工作。這種教學方式事實上改變了教師的角色。文中也將介紹在課程中使用的教材,此教學方法是建立於文藻商用德語課程而形成的特別設計。第二部份將說明及討論商用德語課程下的學生能力及授課目標。

Business German becomes more and more an important part in German language teaching, because language students with a broad knowledge in German are more eager to look for a career in the field of business. Teaching Business German therefore has to be orientated on the practical work in the field of business. In order to achieve this goal new teaching methods have to be introduced. In the first part of this contribution an overview is given over experiential methods in the classroom like role-plays, simulation and project work. The material being used in this course is introduced. The methods are based on a curriculum especially designed for teaching Business German at Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages. In the second part the curriculum for Business German with its underlying objectives and goals are explained and discussed.
