The main purpose of this study was to explore the present situation of the central university of technology students on installation and maintenance the asylum escape equipments. Research methods include literature analysis, case studies and surveys. The subjects in this study were students of six central universities of technology. The response rate was 72.87 percent. The main content of this study includes the structure of the asylum escape equipment, safety management, the installation and maintenance of the current status and research design. The results indicated that most students do not understand the installation and maintenance of the escape sling. The results of this study could be in-depth understood by Ministry of Education and Fire Agency.
