The purpose of this study was to compare the kinetic parameters of two different starting drives stand postures of elite fin swimming athletes. The subjects are five elite fin swimmers. This study employed two different equipment: high speed digital video camera (Casio EX-ZR100, 120Hz) and three-dimens -ional force plate (Kistler 9260AA6, 1200Hz). The t-test (α=.05) was used to test the differences of two start movements. Ultimately, the results showed the arch of foot standing posture and the sole of foot standing posture were significant differences in 15 meters time and the peak of horizontal force. In short, we can conclude that the arch standing posture are better than whole foot posture.
