Early implant failure of suspensory fixation with tightrope in type III acromioclavicular separation-A case report and literature review

摘要
A 52-year-old woman had type III acromioclavicular separation after falling injury, and received arthroscopic fixation with suspensory device (Tightrope). Early implant failure was found at the post-operative 8th week, and broken fiberwire was found after the removal of implant. Incorrect intraoperative technique and aggressive rehabilitation probably increased the occurrence of implant failure.
