台灣與離島地區99年度共計發生503案食品中毒案件,中毒人數6,880人,死亡1人,每案平均約涉及14名患者。案件數最高月份為1月,計78案,患者數最多月份為9月,計989人。病因物質判明案件有207案。依病因物質統計,以「腸炎弧菌」引起的中毒案件數最多(60案,478人),其次為「仙人掌桿菌」(46案,1,982人)及「金黃色葡萄球菌」(41案,902人)。值得注意的是,99年度肉毒桿菌毒素中毒計8案11人,而諾羅病毒引起中毒共計35案1,281人。另外,天然毒素中毒案件有植物性毒素3案(2案為誤食綠褶菇,1案為誤食姑婆芋)及組織胺8案,化學性食品中毒案件有2案(1案為農藥,另1案為過氧化氫)。9月份是腸炎弧菌食品中毒發生的高峰期,仙人掌桿菌食品中毒主要集中在5及9月,諾羅病毒食品中毒發生案件數最高的月份為12月。依攝食場所分類統計,以供膳之營業場所案件數最多(48.8%),其次是學校(23.1%)與自宅(12.9%)。原因食品判明案件有83案,以複合調理食品39案最高(患者數2,026人),其次為盒餐類17案(患者數1,118人)及水產品11案(患者數229人)。

English Abstract

In 2010, a total of 503 foodborne disease outbreaks were reported in Taiwan, involving 6,880 cases and 1 death. On average, there were 14 cases per outbreak. Most occurrence happened in January (78 outbreaks) and most cases in September (989 cases). Two hundred and seven outbreaks were confirmed with etiologic agent, and the main etiology included Vibrio parahaemolyticus (60 outbreaks, 478 cases), Bacillus cereus (46 outbreaks, 1,982 cases) and Staphylococcus aureus (41 outbreaks, 902 cases). It's worth mentioning that there were 8 Clostridium botulinum outbreaks (11 cases) and 35 Norovirus outbreaks (1,281 cases). In addition, natural toxins, i.e. plant toxin, caused 3 outbreaks (2 by Chlorophyllum molybdites and 1 by Alocasia macrorrhiza) and histamine caused 8 outbreaks. Chemical material caused 2 outbreaks (1 by pesticide, and 1 by hydrogen peroxide). The most number of outbreaks due to V. parahaemolyticus was in September, B. cereus mostly in May and September, while Norovirus mostly in December. The location for the foodborne disease outbreaks were restaurant (48.8%), school (23.1%) and home (12.9%). Eighty-three outbreaks were confirmed with food vehicles, and the main vehicles included compound cooking food (39 outbreaks, 2,026 cases), meal box (17 outbreaks, 1,118 cases) and seafood (11 outbreaks, 229 cases).
