輔仁大學選修游泳課學生之學習動機

A Study of Learning Motivation: The Case of Students that Elect Swimming Class in Fu Jen Catholic University

摘要


本研究目的主要在探討輔仁大學修游泳課學生之學習動機及背景變項現況。以輔仁大學97學年度第一學期選修游泳課之學生為研究對象,採用系統抽樣的方式進行問卷發放,共計發出400份問卷,剔除無效問卷後,有效問卷為386份,回收有效率為96.5%。經以描述性統計、因素分析、單因子變異數分析、結構方程模式進行本研究各問項之考驗,所得結論如下:一、本研究之學生以男性最多;年級多分布在二年級;游泳喜好程度以喜歡佔最多;游泳參與頻率以一次(含以下)最多;游泳年數則是以五年以上最多;二、學習動機構面以「價值成分」得分最高、其次為「情感成分」,最低為「期望成分」;三、不同背景變項之學生在「價值成分」、「期望成分」、「情感成分」上皆有顯著差異存在。

Purpose: The purpose of this study aimed to explore the students' learning motivation and attending situation about electing swimming class in Fu Jen Catholic University. Methods: Four hundred students elected the swimming class and participated in this survey based research. We used canonical descript statistics, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA and AMOS analysis to analyze 386 valid questionnaires. Results: (1) More male students, 2 year, like swimming, participate in swimming 1 time a week and 5 years swimming experience. (2) Students' learning motivation of 3 factors rank as ”value components”, ”affective components”, ”expectancy components”. (3) Students with different demographics showed significantly different learning motivation with ”value components”, ”expectancy components” and ”affective components”. Conclusion: Teachers should investigate students' need and expectancy, thus they can match up students' expectancy and enhance their learning motivation.
