本研究目的旨在探討護理人員工作時數與工作滿意度之關係。研究採橫斷面相關調查法,以方便取樣對中部區域教學醫院內外科護理人員100名進行資料收集。將所得資料以SPSS 12.0中文版進行資料之建檔與分析。結果發現:(1)護理人員平均每天工作時數為9.5小時,直接護理時數約5小時,佔所有工時之51.67%;間接護理時數約為2.5小時,佔所有工時之25.73%;相關護理時數為1.5小時,佔所有工時之15.95%;私人時間時數為38分,佔所有工時之6.65%。(2)工作滿意度平均為66.6(滿分為100);(3)年齡較輕、服務年資小於3年、進階屬於新進護理人員者(N)其工作滿意度明顯較高;護理每日工作時數雖與工作滿意度呈正相關,但未達顯著關係。期冀本研究結果可以提供護理管理部門重視護理人員逾時工作的情形,並注意其工作的內涵,以助於提升護理人員工作滿意度。
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between nurses´ work hours and job satisfaction. A cross-sectional correlation research design was used for this study. A convenience sample of 100 medical-surgical nurses was recruited in a regional teaching hospital in central Taiwan. Data analyzed with SPSS 12.0. The Results revealed that: (1) Mean of nurses worked a day was 9.5hs. More than half of nurses´ time devoted to directly care was 5 hrs (51.67%), activity considered to be indirectly care consumed 2.5hrs (25.73%), related care spent 1.5 hrs (15.95%), and personal time consumed 38 minutes (6.65%). (2) Mean score of job satisfaction was 66.6 points/100 points. (3) Younger, working experience under 3 years and nurses who were new staff (N level) had significantly higher job satisfaction. There were no significant correlations between working hours and job satisfaction, though they had positively correlation. The result may provide nursing manager to value the overtime condition and working contents of nurses, to promote job satisfaction of nurses finally.
