本文旨在探討英國的檔案鑑定制度與徵集策略，有關檔案鑑定制度分析重點包括：保存年限訂定、國家檔案鑑選、檔案鑑定途徑與機關檔案鑑定機制，有關電子檔案的鑑定方法亦併予探討。

The main purpose of the article is to explore the records appraisal system and acquisition strategies in the United Kingdom. The study of records appraisal system concentrates on records scheduling, selection of national archives, appraisal approach and appraisal mechanism of government agency records. The appraisal methods of electronic records are also analyzed.
