摘要

Este artículo se basa en una reciente investigación doctoral (Chen 2019), cuyo objetivo era investigar la competencia intercultural de los estudiantes sinohablantes de español como lengua extranjera (ELE). El marco teórico gira en torno al concepto de cultura, las competencias relacionadas con el tratamiento cultural en la enseñanza/aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras, y el estudio de la comunicación intercultural con la finalidad de proponer un instrumento de medida de la competencia intercultural. Junto con la parte teórica, este estudio se enmarca en una línea de investigación empírica en la que se usan datos cuantitativos para describir y medir la competencia intercultural de los estudiantes sinohablantes de ELE. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una prueba piloto con 30 alumnos y un experimento con otros 256 discentes.

This article is based on a recent doctoral research (Chen, 2019). The aim was to investigate the intercultural competence of Chinese-spoken students of Spanish as LE (foreign language). The theoretical framework is about the concept of culture, the competences related to cultural treatment in the teaching/learning of foreign languages, and the study of Intercultural Communication in order to propose an instrument for measuring the intercultural competence. In addition to the theoretical parts, this study is part of an empirical line of research in which quantitative data is used to describe and measure the intercultural competence of Chinese-spoken students of Spanish as LE. A pilot test of a total of 30 Chinese-spoken students and an experiment with 256 Chinese-spoken students of Spanish as LE were carried out.
