摘要


本研究旨在尋找頂夸克透過味改變中性流衰變的過程。分析資料為由大強子對撞機緊湊緲子線圈偵測器所搜集之質子質子對撞質心能量13 兆電子伏特且積分光度為35.9逆飛靶恩之所有事件。本研究會著重於分析頂夸克成對生成事件,且其中一頂夸克衰變成底夸克與W玻色子,而另一頂夸克衰變成上夸克(或魅夸克)以及希格斯粒子; 此希格斯粒子最後會衰變成兩個光子。於先前在直心質量8 兆電⼦伏特同一分析之結果顯示,比較觀察與預測的雙光子最終態事件數,前者並無顯著過剩。本研究使用與分析8兆電子伏特資料同一研究流程與方法。

The purpose of this study is searching for the top quark decay via flavor changing neutral current. The analyzed data is collected by CMS detector at LHC with 35.9 fb-1 integrated luminosity in pp collisions at √s = 13 TeV. This study will be focused on Top quark-antiquark events, in which one of the top quarks decays to a bottom quark and a W boson, and the other decays to a charm(or up) quark and a Higgs boson, where Higgs decays to two photons. The previous √s = 8 TeV result shows no significant excess in data by comparing the observed and expected diphoton events of t -> qH process. The same strategy will be adopted in this study.
