備製Fe/γ-Al2O3異相觸媒併同Photo-Fenton法結合流體化床降解印刷廢水中酞菁染料之研究

Photo assisted Fenton degradation of PCS dyes from wastewater of printing industry using Fe/γ-Al2O3 catalyst in up-flow fluidized-bed

摘要


本研究混合商業級三氧化二鋁 (Al2O3 )及硫酸亞鐵 (FeSO4 )粉末後,利用含浸法備製出黃棕色之Fe/γ-Al2O3觸媒,觸媒載體為一具強吸附金屬離子特性的γ-Al2O3,將備製出之Fe/γ-Al2O3異相觸媒併同Photo-Fenton法結合流體化床降解印含酞菁染刷廢水。研究結果顯示備製出之Fe/γ-Al2O3異相觸媒,其最佳備制條件以添加20 wt% 之硫酸亞鐵為最佳配比;此外,依據EDS分析結果得知0.20Fe/γ-Al2O3觸媒所含的鐵量最高 (3.02 at%),其BET量測結果發現比表面積隨鐵/鋁的添加比例增加,但Fe/γ-Al2O3觸媒鐵含量而遞減。在上流式流體化床光催化系統中,水力停留時間控制在90分鐘,隨著觸媒添加量增加反應效果亦增加,於Fe/γ-Al2O3觸媒添加量為60 g/L時,反應去除率可達90%,其pH = 3.5時反應去除效果為最佳。在觸媒回收再利用部分,其Fe/γ-Al2O3觸媒於貫穿試驗後,仍可反覆處理3次之酞菁染廢水;但經回收多次後之Fe/γ-Al2O3觸媒,所含之鐵離子含量於溶液中慢慢遞減,而產生觸媒劣化現象,直接影響觸媒的重複使用性。故本研究建議Fe/γ-Al2O3觸媒回收使用3次之後,更換使用或添加新的Fe/γ-Al2O3觸媒。

Yellowish-browish Fe/γ-Al2O3 powders, synthesized from a dipping method, by mixing aqueous solution containing aluminium oxide (γ-Al2O3) and iron(II)-precursor (FeSO4), were used for photo-Fenton degradation of phthalocyanines dye (PCS) under ultraviolet (UV) irradiation in an up-flow fluidized bed. This study evaluated the catalyst with Fe/γ-Al2O3 weight ratio of 20% exhibited a maximum content of iron (3.02 at%). BET measurements indicated that Fe/γ-Al2O3 catalyst surface areas decreased continuously with increasing Fe/γ-Al2O3 weight ratio. In this study, an optimal dosage of Fe/γ-Al2O3 of 60 g/L was determined from the experimental results. The degradation efficiency of PCs increases as pH decreases, exhibiting a maximum at pH 3.5. The durability of Fe/γ-Al2O3 was evaluated by reusing the photocatalyst 5 times. The results show that the recycled catalyst was capable of repeating 3 runs without significant decrease in treatment efficiency. This study suggests that the replacement of the Fe/γ-Al2O3 catalyst is necessary, after repeated use for 3 runs. The decrease in efficiency of the recycled catalyst occurs due to the Fe ion leaching decreases in each run.
